Picturizing you, I wouldn’t do.

Always liked you close to me,

You guard me wherever I go.

Being a child I adored,

As you was my power to perform.

Seeing your image made me comfortable,

I carried an image of you for strength.

Of late I started questioning with your help,

As I see things are strange now.

I was happy to see you in calendars earlier,

But felt sad changed at the year’s end.

Embossed in bags,

Just to be thrown away when worn out.

Printed in books,

So as people can make money out of you.

Finally unforgivably printed on crackers,

Just to see you burst into flames,

I thought you are untouchable,

So you should be, always out of reach.

I keep you in my heart,

God picturizing you, I wouldn’t do.
